Over
and above its eco credentials, the advantage of timber frame is the speed and
ease of erection. On Tuesday there were only soleplates; by this evening most
of the ground floor and garage had been completed.
A team
of three usually completes most timber frame builds in little more than two
weeks; our team has certainly made an impressive start.
